You almost got me crying reading this. I don’t have ADHD. But my mom does and every morning when I wake up to a missed call from her telling me "Ral, I can’t find my notebook when it’s writing in front of her. It makes me cry on the phone"

You’re such an amazing person for having this column and writing this. It’s absolutely beautiful. When we think of what we should be building together in this world, this is absolutely one of it. I’ll love to share your writing with her. I’m sure she’ll love to read it. It’s a lovely one and a very beautiful pleasure. Meeting you today.♥️🌀

Thank you, Ral! I’m glad your mother has you to listen. Sometimes that’s what people struggling need most. I appreciate you sharing that.

I hope this interests you 🌼

Would you be open to being part of our upcoming Issue 21 - WHAT SHOULD WE BUILD TOGETHER. Every generation builds something. Too often, it's systems that exhaust us, divide us, break us or war machines that kills us. So this time, we're asking something more honest: What is actually worth building together? In 100 words, begin with: "We should build.." A sentence that holds your vision of a better future. It's a paid member issue, but l'd truly love to have you in this village. Send a DM. Much love ♥️

I love it when people ask for help, and it’s wild how rare it actually occurs! Anything I can do to assist the blurb process?

Thanks for that, Kimberly! I’m waiting on the last few and I think it’ll be done. But I appreciate that! Things are moving forward!

I feel this, Kate! If there's a way I can help with the blurb process, I'd be happy to.

I love this post, Kate! I, too, have trouble asking for help, but what happens to me that things I have trouble doing just sit in a corner and don’t get done. At this stage of the game, I hope we can get better at reaching out.

And I know with your work you’re always having to ask. I’ve always found that the hardest part of journalism is the constant having to ask for interviews. You’re an optimist, Marilyn. I don’t think I’ll ever get better at it. But email helps. I remember the old days of having to reach out by phone. Nightmare!

For sure! I remember sitting in my office gearing up for those calls. I'm glad we can send emails and texts now, but they come with their own challenges. A lifelong challenge to push myself out of my comfort zone!

It’s hard! I’m inspired by your tenacity.

Yes, you’ve been there! Thanks for the help offer — so sweet! But I think I’ve just about made it to the end of the process. Waiting on just a couple to come in. Whew! Glad to move on!
